In a partnership with Simply Dance Studio (the location: 820 West Sprague Avenue, upstairs) and Santé Restaurant & Charcuterie, SpIFF is bringing a cultural event to Spokane that should not be missed. Friday Night (December 10th), SpIFF presents their first “Food and Film” event, an evening of culinary delight–on your table and on screen. A gourmet 5-course meal will accompany a sneak peek of the SpIFF 2010 Documentary Selection Kings of Pastry by directors Chris Hegedus and D.A. Pennebaker. “Food and Film” will have your mouth watering, then your appetite quenched. Those interested should act quickly, as seating is limited.
It’s great to see cultural groups and businesses in Spokane come together to provide such fun and engaging events such as this one. The menu alone is worth the price of attendance. Also, as a special treat, local budding filmmaker Mariana Di Lorenzo will screen her short, “Out of Italy.”
Below is a copy of the evening’s offerings, including a dinner crafted by Santé Restaurant & Charcuterie’s Jeremy Hansen, co-owner and chef of the restaurant. The evening’s dessert will be created by Santé Restaurant & Charcuterie’s Pastry Chef, Lynette Pflueger.
Don’t miss this previously unpublicized event! It is a wonderful opportunity to get out of the house on a cold winter night and enjoy some culinary delights with your fellow foodies and filmies! Information on how you can get tickets for this event can be found on the Spokane International Film Festival web site. The doors open to guests at 8:00 pm.
